A week away from the playoffs, Trento looked in good shape as it defeated the Germans of Friedrichshafen 3-1 in a friendly game in Italy. The two hundred fans or so witnessed an entertaining game that lasted an hour and a half. The middle blockers Djuric and Birarelli shined, and Stokr had a good game too. As for the Germans, former Vibo player Simeonov scored 15 points.

“We were only relatively interested in the result – said coach Stoytchev – We had had a heavy session in the weight room the day before, which explains why we haven’t been particularly brilliant in the first part of the game, when we struggled to impose our rhythm on the serve. When we improved this aspect, everything became much easier. We have one more week to prepare the playoff and make sure we’re ready”. Before that though, there will be one last friendly game against Modena on Saturday 23.
