Pre-season ends with a defeat, the first after four victories. In its last friendly game before the Super Cup against Macerata, Trento was defeated at the tie-break by Modena in its PalaTrento arena. Despite the loss, Serniotti’s men did well in attack (50% and at the net (14 blocks, 4 for Sokolov). Lanza shines once again with 23 points, 61% in attack and 56% in reception.

“This was a very competitive game, this is what we needed, both team gave their absolute best – said coach Serniotti – Given that this was the first time we all played together, this was a positive performance. We do have to handle better some situations, like in the third set in which we had a commanding lead. But we the loss of the set did not have any psychological effect, the team reacted well to force a tie-break”.
