Trentino’s last piece of the jigsaw is David Szabo. Born in 1990, the Hungarian outside hitter, who was last seen in the Austrian league, was signed by the club after two weeks spent on trial. Despite his young age, this will already be his fifth season at the very top level. In Italy, he previously played for Verona, Mantova (A2), Treviso and Belluno. Szabo is the second Hungarian player to wear the Trentino shirt after Domotor Meszaros between 2001 and 2003.

“I am thrilled, this is a huge opportunity for me and I realized that even more in the two weeks spent at the club – said Szabo – I felt at ease from the very beginning, I got along with the team, coaching and medical staff. They’re all top quality professional, which will definitely help me to get better”.
