In the first game of the second half of season in the Serie A2, Potenza conceded another home defeat but they had not taken a point for a long time. Graziosi’s boys surrendered indeed only at the tie-break against a top team. Lampi did well in the first and fourth set while Moretti’s superb game (24 points) was not enough for Potenza to clinch victory.
“We played good volleyball today compared to our previous outings – said outside hitter Moretti – I am satisfied with the performance because our opponent did not give anything away, it was tough to prevail, but we did well. Shame we did not win the tie-break, but we have to build on this point taken, focus on ourselves without thinking of the league table”.
