Latina and Italy’s libero, Salvatore Rossini received the Milita award, the most important acknowledgement from the Lazio region. Rossini helped Italy clinch the bronze medal in the World League and silver in the European Championships 2011.
“I am very pleased to receive the Milita award – said Rossini – In the past people like Rondoni, Montali, Zaytsev have had this honour. I am thrilled, first of all I want to thank my family, then all the people that helped me in my career, from my first coaches to all the managers, with special thanks to Luciano, Andrea, always present to promote volleyball in the area”.
