Matera at work, Pinerua out for ten days

Kervin Pinerua’s knee injury is not as serious as first thought. The Venezuelan outside hitter will carry out further tests but should be out only for ten days. In the meantime, the players are preparing the next game, everybody knows this is a big one against Loreto, a game that could be critical in the race to stay up as Matera could take a 6-point advantage on their opponent if they were to win even if Loreto would have a game in hand. Loreto is coming off a 3-0 defeat against Atripalda.
