Città di Castello has now the setters it needed with the arrival of Manuele Marchiani. He was born and came up in Loreto before moving to Macerata’s youth ranks. He gathered experience in the B1 with Molfetta and Club Italia before going back to Loreto where he had won the A2 in 2008-09 as Visentin’s back-up. However, last year things did not go as he wished.
“It’s been an unlucky season on all fronts – said Manuele – Even if that was still a good experience to be a starter in the A2, and at home. It will be exciting to be part of a young club, which will be eager to work hard to be ready for every game. Fighting spirit will definitely not go amiss in this group”.
