The Nonno Gino tournament in Sora turned out to be an excellent way to prepare for the league debut to come next weekend. In the semi-final, Radici’s boys had the better of the hosts 3-1 before surrendering to Latina in the final. Despite the defeat, the final was pretty tight except for the first set. Training has now resumed but without Piano and coach Radici who travelled to Roma and the Hall of Fame. Coach Radici will receive the best coach award for the 2012-13 season, while Matteo Piano will be handed the award of best Under 23.
