The players are preparing this weekend’s southern derby against Vibo Valentia. Castellana and Vibo have had totally opposite seasons so far, with Vibo doing fantastic in the first part of the season before losing its way in recent games, while Castellana has been far from brilliant in the first half but has definitely shown some improvements in winning three of the last five games.
“Our goal remains to help the team improve – said coach Gulinelli – The recent results and victories have been satisfying. We gained the confidence required to play well as a team and now things are going definitely better on court. A win could get us closer to 8th position, which would give us a good advantage in the playoffs 8th of final, but we know for well that we’ll have some tough games after Vibo”.
