Giorgio says good bye with a letter

Giorgio Barbareschi hangs up his boots. “Things don’t always go as you’d wish. When I signed for Reggio Emilia in June last year, I told the club and the team it would be my last season in volleyball. I turned 35 a month ago and I’m starting not to feel as competitive as I used to, physical problems have increased, the salaries have diminished, but most importantly, I don’t feel the same motivation and determination that made me reach so many goals during my career”.
