There were a lot of rumours going on, but now comes the first official signing of the Perugia side version 2013-14: setter Mihajlo Mitic. Born in 1990, Mitic is a Serbian international who took part in the recent Olympic games in London. He played for Red Star Belgrade last season.
“He is technically solid and accurate – said coach Kovac – He can give us a hand at the net and on the serve too. He is an important signing for the type of team we want to put together. I have great faith in him, I am sure we made a good signing”.
