After an extremely long ride, and not only in terms of kilometers, Latina played its second round return leg against Chemes Hummené and won in straight sets. The first two were enough to go through but the Italians sealed it very quickly. Having gotten late in Prague, the team lost the train and reached destination only late at night after almost a whole day traveling. Still the team looked very motivated and did the job.

Sasa Starovic: “We started off under a bit of pressure after an uncomfortable trip that made us miss yesterday’s training session as we arrived at 3am. Now we have to focus on the coming league game, only after that can we think of the next round”.

Daniele Sottile: “We did what we had to do, trying to seal it as quickly as possible. Going ahead in the cup was one of our targets”.

Salvatore Rossini: “We needed to win two sets but instead we won it in three. We had the game under control and went through. That’s the way to go”.
