World Club Championships 2013

Trentino will be back in action tomorrow in the World Club Championships against the Argentine side of UPCN San Juan in Betim (Streaming on www.laola1.tv). In the first game, the Italians had got rid of the Iranians of Kalleh. A win would send Trento into the semi-finals, which was the minimum goal expected. The Argentine had also won their first encounter at the expense of the Japan side of Panasonic Panthers.

“This will be an even tougher game than the last we won against Kalleh – said Coach Serniotti – But there aren’t any weak teams in the World Club Championships anyway. The UPCN is a top quality team, they might not have famous players for the general public but they are definitely solid. They play good volleyball, the kind I love, rarely making any mistakes and with hard work in dig. They have what it takes to make it hard for us”.
