Molfetta’s first in the A1
Molfetta rushed to the A1 by sweeping Padova in the A2 playoff final. A historical moment for the southern club which will be in the top division for the first time ever. The heart and determination of Padova were not enough. They won the first set and were very close to send the game to the tie-break but Molfetta eventually celebrated in front of its home fans. This remain for Padova an excellent run given that they had finished the regular season in seventh place.
