Crucial week
2013 CEV Champions League
There will be decisive home encounters in the Champions League playoffs 12 return legs for Trentino, Macerata and Cuneo. Trentino needs a breakthrough having lost in Moscow last week. The world champions have to win the game plus the golden set to go through. This will be Trentino’s 500th game in the history of the club.
Cuneo and Macerata do not have to worry about the golden set yet as they won their first leg. Piazza’s team are back in form having gathered three consecutive 3-0 victories as they prepare to host Ljubljana. Same score against the Polish side of Reszow for Macerata, which will look for the double in its PalaFontescodella arena to avoid the risky golden set.
