The new era at Ravenna officially begins with the winning mentality of coach Marco Bonitta as its main representative. The home-grown man, World champions in 2002 with the women Italian national team, has just earned promotion into the A2 with Porto Donati.
“I am thrilled and proud to be able to coach the first team of my home town – said Bonitta who will also take charge of the youth department – I would like to thank Luca Casadio and Damiano Donati, as well as all those Ravenna players that won’t be with us but helped the club to be in the elite after so many years”.
Cristiano Lucchi will be Bonitta’s assistant while the athletic trainer will be Maurizio Gardenghi. Melandri and Della Fina are the scouts.
