The new Città di Castello was officially presented at the city town hall. A video of the splendid 2012-13 season that lead to the triumph in the league and promotion in the A1 was shown for the occasion.
“I would like to thank all the people that made this synergy possible which will allow the club to play in the presitigious Italian Serie A1” said San Giutino’s town mayor, Fabio Buschi.
“Last year was an amazing season thanks to the quality of the coaching staff led by Andrea Radici, the players and the one that chose those players, Valdemaro Gustinelli – said President Arveno Joan – We just couldn’t give it all up so, guided more with our hearts than with numbers, we thought about this project of fusion between Città di Castello Volley and Altotevere Volley”.
