“These have been intense and beautiful months. I am extremely motivated for this new season at Modena”. These are the words of Thomas Beretta, middle blocker from Milan who came up in Treviso’s youth ranks. In the past two years he played for Monza in the A2. And from the A2, Thomas went directly into the Italian national team this summer, helping the team grab silver at the European Championships.
“An unbelievable experience – he said – It took me a few days to take in the defeat in the final against Russa, but this silver medal is fantastic. Like I said this has been a beautiful period, from the A2 to the national team…What can I say?. And now I am excited to start this new adventure in the A1 with Modena. It will be great to get to know the place and experience the atmosphere of a club and city that loves volleyball”.
Meanwhile, Modena will play a friendly tomorrow in Trento while it will host Cuneo on Monday.
