Aimone Alletti, who played last season at Perugia, is no new face at Cuneo. Born in 1988, he indeed came up in Cuneo’s youth ranks before playing in the A2 with Crema (2008-10) and Segrate (2010-12).
“Ever since I left Cuneo five years ago, I was hoping to come back and be part of the first team – said Alletti who did extremely well in his first year in the top division with 38 blocks and a nice-looking float serve that created havoc into more than one defence – I am extremely proud to be here. Last year was my first experience in the A1 and I am happy with the way it went, now I will take part in a European competition for the first time. Hopefully, I will be able to do well and help the team”.
