Right after the signing of German spiker Denis Kaliberda, which was communicated this morning, Vibo Valentia announced its next addition with libero Alessandro Farina. Born in Parma in 1976, he has won numerous trophies both at club level with Parma and Treviso as well as with the Italian national team. The highlight of his trophy cabinet are six league titles and three Champions League.
“Two aspects clearly stand out in Farina – said the Vibo coach – his excellent dig and his experience, which will be extremely useful in a young and motivated group. I really wanted him because we needed somebody that could give us guarantees in reception and in the organization in dig”.
