Loreto added another piece to the jigsaw with the signing of middle blocker Gianluca Piccinini. Born in 1990, he played the last two seasons in the B1 division at Carpi, where he recently won the playoffs and promotion in the A2.
“Everything went to perfection in Carpi – said Piccinini – We earned promotion but unfortunately the club was unable to register in the A2. Now, I’ll be playing for a great club that has always been fighting for the top positions. This will be my first year in Serie A, I am really up for it”.
