One triumph after another this season for Macerata. While Giuliani’s team celebrated the A1 league title, now the Under 19 followed suit by winning the B2 Group E and earning promotion into the B1.
“A superb achievement and totally unexpected at the beginning of the season – said coach Giovanni Rosichini – The team is extremely young, and it is known that our primary target has always been to teach the game to the boys, not only in terms of technique and tactic but also the mental side of it. The B2 league is tough, we had to face much more experienced teams, so it’s normal that at the beginning our only aim was to stay up”.
