Padova came back from Slovenia as winner. In the four-team tournament, the boys dressed in back and white obtained two 3-0 victories. The first in the semi-final against the hosts of Nova Gorica before sweeping Ok Salonit Anhovo Kanal in the final yesterday. The fourth team was Budvanska Rivijera from Montenegro.
“This is another important step forward in the building of our game – said coach Luigi Schiavon – There are various reasons for which I can be satisfied. Without Rosso, we used Garghella who did well, even in reception. We made improvement but still have to get better at the net. Moretti was back from his muscle problem and Balaso showed all his quality”.
