Trentino will have a Bulgarian outside hitter in its roster for the seventh consecutive season. This positive and lucky tradition had begun with Mlyakov, then continued with Nikolov, Stefanov and Sokolov. Now Trentino brings back Nikolay Uchikov, last season’s top scorer in the A2. The player was already owned by Trentino since 2009 and thanks to great performances in his experiences away, he earned his place in the first team.
“I am extremely motivated and ready to give everything I have – said Nikolay Uchikov – Trento had already signed me but thought it would be better for me to gain experience in the second division, now I’ll finally be able to measure myself in the A1. I am extremely happy to have this opportunity”.
