In the last round preceding the cup Final four, Castellana Grotte travels to Reggio Emilia hoping to keep up with the leaders Perugia, beaten last week at the tie-break after an impressive come-back. Earlier this season, Castellana Grotte had won the fixtures 3-0 but Reggio made some changes in the roster since then. They took Paoletti from Santa Croce and signed outside hitter Bakumowski who arrived from the Turkish League and played for Taranto in 2005-06.
