Atripalda began its season with three points thanks to a 3-1 victory over Reggio Emilia (25-20, 17-25, 25-20, 25-18). This totally new team showed capacity to react in tough moments and still has a big margin for improvement. Reggio was without Biribanti and Diachkov while Atripalda had to do without Bassi, who got injured in the last training session. Scappaticcio and Cazzaniga (17 points) combined extremely well.
“This first game was not easy – said coach Totire – It was an important victory but I didn’t like the way we lost the second set. We did well in reception”.
