The French spiker Guillaume Quesque, also called “Monsieur” by his teammates had a great performance in the 3-0 victory over Verona in the opening game of the season.
“The coach only told us in the changing room who would start about an hour before the game – said Quesque – I was ready, we had played some good friendlies, I did not feel any particular stress. Although I have to say that it was my first in Italy and in Modena, so there was obviously a bit of emotion. The team loosened up a bit after the first set, we managed to win it and could play more freely afterwards”.
