Another great news on the transfer market for Perugia, which acquired the services of libero Andrea Giovi. The latter is one of the best at his position, he had two excellent seasons at San Giustino. The libero has been an Italian international for the past two years and is currently involved with Berruto’s group in the World League. It’s also a come-back home for Giovi who had made his first steps in volleyball here in Perugia, his home town, and where he had made his debut in the top division.
“I couldn’t be happier – said Giovi – I really wanted to come to Perugia. I totally identify with this club and what they’re building. I am extremely motivated, I am not the kind of person who relax. And then, I have to prove to everyone, the club and the coach, that they made the right choice by taking me”.
