Cuneo brought in two players it had followed for a long time this summer, both coming from Trento. They are Bulgarian outside hitter Tsvetan Sokolov and Italian spiker Dore Della Lunga.
“I am extremely happy to come to Cuneo to play for a team that wants to win it all – said Sokolov – It will be great to play alongside players such as Nikola Grbic and work with a good coah like Roberto Piazza, I am sure I will learn a lot from him”.
“Cuneo is one of the main teams in Italy so I am glad to be part of it – said Della Lunga – I am leaving a strong team but I am joining another which is as strong and will fight for every trophy, like he has been doing for years”.
