Padova played its first friendly game of the season in Verona in front of 400 spectators. The team in black and white had the better start and took the first set but was eventually defeated 3-1.
“We tried to put in evidence our main strength and limit our flaws – said coach Schiavon – we did not too bad, let’s not forget that Verona is a top quality team. I’d have preferred to go to the fifth set, I think we deserved it, but overall it went ok”.
