Vibo Valentia announced the arrival of spiker Denis Kaliberda. Born in 1990 in Poltawa, Ukraine, the German international chose Vibo over many other foreign clubs interested. He won three youth national championships with Berlin before moving to Unterhachting in 2009, where he won various national trophies.
“I am extremely pleased to have chosen Vibo Valentia – said Denis – I only heard good things about this club. I also talked to the coach and it was nice to hear what he thought of me and what was his idea on my position in the team. His ideas and plans sound very interesting to me”.
