Following the signing of libero Henno, Macerata announced its next addition with the arrival of Ivan Zaytsev. Born in Spoleto in 1988, the spiker played in Roma for the last four years. He will be officially unveiled on Friday morning in a press conference at 11.30am at the PalaFontescodella. In 2011-12, he simply finished top scorer of the league with a total of 490 points in 26 games and 101 sets. Zaytsev will be one of the main players of the Italian national team in the Olympic Games this summer in London.
