A good crowd witnessed Matera’s first three points of the season as it had the better of Potenza Picena 3-1 (26-24, 25-22, 21-25, 25-20). Convincing performance from Janusek while, except for the too many mistakes on the serve, the whole team did well. Potenza had Mercorio as its main man, but Muzio was not hundred percent fit and Zampetti went out with a knee injury.
