San Giustino will take on one of the top teams of this league on Sunday. Fenoglio’s boys will be up against Piacenza, which swept Ravenna in 1’14 last weekend. San Giustino had not played badly in the league opener but were defeated by the Italian champions of Macerata.
“I am satisfied with the performance of the boys, with the compliments we received but certainly not with the result – said coach Fenoglio – You never enjoy to lose, not even against the Italian champions. We played at a high level in the second set but failed to grab our opportunities in the third. Against Piacenza we’ll need a top quality performance, they have a lot of stars in their line-up”.
