Newly promoted in the A2 in 2010-11, Segrate managed to improve this season on an already impressive first experience. Segrate got rid of Sora and made it into the semi-finals in which it will meet up with Castellana Grotte.
“Segrate’s success is based on his experience, will, organization and enthusiasm – said general manager Fabio Carpita – Experience because everyone in Segrate has been in volleyball for years. Will because everything is done properly here and when you do that you win. Organization because without it, it would be impossible to handle the daily life of 300 athletes, coaching and managerial staff and volunteers. Enthusiasm because everyone works hard and with great passion”.
