Following Massimiliano Giaccardi’s departure to Russia and Ural, Piacenza appointed Davide Delmonti as the new assistant coach. In just two years starting in 2006, Delmati managed to bring Busnago up from the B2 to the B1 and then immediately to the A2. He remained at Acqua Paradiso Busnago until the end of last season, finishing sixth in the league.
