A2 playoff final

The first southern derby in this A2 playoff final goes to Castellana Grotte. In Molfetta, Vincenzo Di Pinto’s team took game 2 and therefore goes 2-0 in the series as it was given an automatic 1-0 lead due to its better regular season position. Castellana will have a chance to seal the series on home court on Wednesday and celebrate promotion in the A1. Despite the excellent start from the home side (26-24, Castellana managed to draw things level immediately (27-29). Rodriguez and co won the third 25-20 and clinched the fourth too in spite of Molfetta’s attempt to force a tie-break (26-28).
