Playoff semi-finals game 3
BCC-NEP Castellana Grotte and Pallavolo Molfetta won their respective game 3. The newly promoted Molfetta swept Città di Castello and made it into the final, in which it will meet either Segrate or Castellana Grotte. The latter regained the lead in the series thanks to their latest victory on home court. Game 4 is scheduled on Sunday May 13 in Segrate. Città di Castello is out but deserves applause for the effort they gave and for forcing a tie-break despite being without their two foreigners Noda Blanco and Lehtonen, both called by their respective national teams for the qualification tournaments for the Olympic Games 2012.
