Yesterday, May 8, Giacomo Sintini successfully passed the medical tests that will allow him to play again.
“I am delighted – said Sintini who had been stopped by a tumor in the lymphatic system in summer2011 – My passion for volleyball is one of the reasons that helped me to fight in these 11 months and now I can give the best of me as an athlete again. I am extremely happy to be able to play and train at hundred percent of my capacity again. I thank all of you for supporting me all the way, especially my family, the doctors and nurses of Perugia’s hospital. I’ll see you soon, but this time on court”.
