Playoff quarters game 3
Castellana Grotte and Città di Castello will have a chance to seal their respective quarter-final series in game 3 respectively against Loreto and Milan. The other two series are tied so far at 1-1: Genova and Segrate had won game 2 respectively against Molfetta and Sora.
Globo Banca Popolare del Frusinate Sora – Crazy Diamond Segrate. Sora lost its advantage given thanks to its best regular season position in game 2 in Segrate and will now host game 3. They have not been beaten at home since January 8 but Segrate will be keen to repeat their breakthrough and stop Sora’s run of seven consecutive home victories.
Gherardi SVI Città di Castello – CheBanca! Milano. Castello is 2-0 up following its away win and has a chance to seal the series at home and qualify for the semi-finals. Milan hopes to force a fourth encounter on home soil.
BCC-NEP Castellana Grotte – Energy Resources Carilo Loreto. Castellana Grotte dominated game 2 and could finis hit off in game 3 at home and be able to focus immediately on the semi-finals.
Pallavolo Molfetta – Carige Genova. A superb Genova managed to tie the series in game 2 against Molfetta following a difficult 8th of final series against Corigliano. They have secured the right to play game 4 at home no matter what will happen on Wednesday night in Molfetta, which had finished third of the regular season. The last home defeat of Lorizio’s team goes back to January 5.

PLAYOUT FINAL BEGINS
Edilesse Conad Reggio Emilia – Cicchetti Isernia. The first to three wins in the series will stay up in the A2, the other one will go down. Isernia, which was directly qualified to the final, starts off with a 1-0 advantage thanks to its better regular season position. Reggio Emilia has swept Club Italia in the semi-final. Reggio will have a chance to tie the series on home soil on Wednesday.
