Volley Segrate 1978 triumphed in the Boy League 2012 (17th Enrico Bazan cup) in Cesenatico. The Under 14 coached by Davide Colombelli overcame Treviso and Fano in their group before disposing of Roma in the semi-final and then Treviso in the final. Trentino finished third.

Dinamo Moscow won the Cev Cup 2012 at the expense of the Polish side of Rzeszow. The Russians won both legs at the tie-break. Treviso had won the trophy last year.
