Trentino got the bronze in its fourth ever participation in the Champions League thanks to a win over Izmir that could be worth a ticket for the World Club Championships 2012.

I am happy with the fact the team managed to regain its focus quickly to get a medal, even if different from the one we had been used to. The European dream is over for Monza, defeated in Russia by Dinamo Moscow in the Cev Cup semi-final return leg. Monza had won the first leg in Italy and the final was close as the Russian had to win both the return leg plus a Golden set to go through. And that’s precisely what they did. Dinamo Moscow will face the Polish side of della Asseco Resovia Rzeszow.
