Sold out crowd in Macerata and the supporters were not disappointed. The hosts produced a remarkable come-back in the Champions League Playoffs 6 at the expense of Trento. But that’s not the end of it, Macerata will have to win the return leg too in Trento to go through to the Final Four in Lodz, or win the Golden Set.

In the tie-break, Omrcen’s aces sent Macerata 7-3 up, then Podrascanin made it 10-5 and there would be no way back for Trento as Podrascanin scored the winning point that had the gym going wild.
