Monza got it all right in Germany winning 3-1 and going through to the Challenge Round, in which they will take on Remat Zalau. Monza had already won the first leg 3-0.

Emanuele Zanini (coach Acqua Paradiso Monza Brianza): “We are extremely satisfied to be through to the next stage. Berlin had changed its way of playing with the addition of Touzinsky and the packed crowd also helped them. They played better as well compared to the first leg. I am happy with the way my team played after losing the first set, they showed great will and personality. I have to spend a couple of words on our performance at the net: 19 blocks against 5 for them goes to show that the work done in recent weeks is paying off. I also have to congratulate Marco Molteni, our captain had a superb game, he has been crucial for us. This is what it means to have a complete roster, with experienced players. Tonight Molteni stood out, he proved he was an important player in this team”.
