It was farewell time for Paolo Montagnani, who announced he would be coaching in Japan in the 2012-13 season. “This is the start of a new life for me and my family in a new country – said Montagnani – This will be a great experience both in life and in volleyball. I know the beginning will be complicated but I am extremely excited. My wife will give birth to my son in Japan, and that tells you how much we want to live the experience at 360 degrees. I have lived three fantastic and intense seasons in Padova. I have millions of people to thank but I’ll do it personally”.
