Vibo Valentia shows its will to bring up some young talents as they signed Italo-American spiker Antonio Chalmers Ciarelli. Born in 1990, ‘Tony’ agreed to a two-year deal. Excellent in attack and at the net, Ciarelli also boasts a very good serve. Both his father and mother played volleyball. His father, Rocky, played for Long Beach before coaching, while his mother won 14 professional beach volley tournament. Tony just graduated in the University of California in History.

“We have seen many of his games – said scout Antonio Valentini – He has had an excellent college year, in which he stood high up in the various charts”.
