An outstanding Corigliano team began the A2 season with a superb 3-0 away win in Loreto. Jeliazkov’s boys dominated the first and third set. Corigliano was the better team in attack and at the net but struggled a bit in reception. Diaz finished top scorer with 18 points while Marretta played with fighting spirit and registered 13.
“That’s a little step forward in this tournament which will be very tough – said sport director De Patto – We have a lot of work on. Let’s enjoy those three points so far and start working again in the gym from tomorrow. Congratulations to Padura Diaz, he worked extremely hard this summer in training and tonight it paid off”.
