Genova had one of those nights in which nothing went right and was defeated in straight set by Molfetta in the quarter-final game 3. Molfetta goes 2-1 up and will have a chance to go through on Sunday. Genova will have no choice but win it on home soil to force a deciding game 5 in Molfetta.
“We have to forget quickly about this game – said coach Franco Bertoli – Our attitude was not right, we were mentally not ready. Now we have to focus on Sunday’s home game. Everything is still possible. I’m sure we’ll bounce back and have another good game in front of our supporters”.
