Piacenza’s young talent, Denis Alikaj, was selected by coach Andrea Tomasini into the Italian national team pre-juniors for two camps set for the European Championship qualifications.
“I am happy and satisfied – said the spiker – I was hoping to be called but when they actually told me, it took me some time to really realize that was happening”.
Italy will be in Moscow from January 3-7 to meet Byelorussia, Russia, Estonia, Belgium and Norway.
