The beginning of training for the new season will be on August 18 at the Fontescodella Arena. Giuliani will have a reduced roster as many players will still be involved with their national teams. Indeed, only four players will begin on that day: captain Igor Omrcen, Alessandro Paparoni, Davidson Lampariello and Natale Monopoli.
“In my coaching career, I had never started the pre-season with that few players at my disposal – explained coach Giuliani – But we will find a way to adapt to this situation”.
